Brian Dawe began his law enforcement career as a State Correctional Officer in Massachusetts on May 31, 1982. He spent sixteen years as an Officer. He is a co-founder of the Massachusetts Correction Officers Federated Union, the largest law enforcement union in New England. He spent nine years on the MCOFU Executive Board. He has also served as the Administrator for the Corrections and Criminal Justice Coalition, the Executive Director for Corrections USA and the American Correctional Officer and now as a Board Member and Treasurer for the National Medal of Honor Foundation. He is the originator and owner of the American Correctional Officer Intelligence Network. Brian earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Labor Studies from the University of Massachusetts. He lives with his family just outside of Boston.
